1: Super Mario Bros
The Brothers first outing is infamous but unfortunat, however we shouldn't lose hope. If we get only one Video Game movie in the future then this is the safest bet, Video Game movies can be rebemed and this is the salution. As for the story, they could adaped the Super Mario Adventures comic from Nintedo Power for the films plot, I know that would cosed the studio extra money as they would have to pay for the rights to the comic as well as the games but it would be worth it.
2: Megaman
Megaman has such a cool world with a butt tun of awsome enemies like Gutsman, Metalman, Geminiman and Pharohman. Think of how they could adaped the drama between Megaman and his brother Protoman, this could make for a compeling bit of cinama that everyone would love.
3: Legend of Zelda
Like the first one, you could use the story from the Nintendo Power Comic for the story but also adapted the visual style created by Manga legend Shotaro Ishinomori (creater of Cyborg 009, Kamen Rider and Super Senti aka Power Rangers). We need some like Hayao Miyazaki or Tomm Moore handling this project in the same style as something like Tales from Earthsea or The Secret of Kells, maby this could be a chance for hand drawn animation to make a valient return.
4: Monkey Island
If pirets won't to make a return after Pirets of the Caribian then this is there chance. This could be a job for Sony Picters Animation as this would work well as a fast pased comady is the same vain as Road to El Dorado or Emperors New Groove. Ether way I would rather Sony Picters Animation do this rather than another middiocer Hotel Transylvania sequel.
5: Sonic the Hedgehog
Now this won't be ethical seeing as the 2020 movie only just came out, so I don't think this should be a direct adaptation on the video games, just a feature film that plays around in the Sonic universe. I would love to see what the film makes would do with a Sonic movie free from studio interface and constraint and just made in for the fans, especially if they adopt the same story as the Archie Comics. #sonally
6: Wario Land
Ether as a Spin-off to the first chose or as its own thing, this would be a blast to see. You could mix the story telling of the indiana Jones Movies with the insane wackiness of the Lego Movie. Well all love a good treasure hunt movie so why won't it work well in animation.
7: Sly Cooper
This could be like a cross between Carman Sadiago and Zootopia, all the cool sneeky action of the video game would translate well to film. I know there was a project in development that got canceld but there's always a secand chance.
8: Crash Bandicoot
We've got a lovebul main character, a bad ass villain, fun side characters, an interesting world, so what are they waiting for.
