For those of you who will inevitable be crying "blasphemy", I like Donna Noble as much as the last whovian but the more I think about it, I think that Martha Jones really deserve a second series. She did get more appearances in series 4, Torchwood and End of Time part 2, but it still doesn’t change the fact that the 10th Doctor never had a definitive companion like 7th Doctor has with Ace or the 4th Doctor had with Sara Jane Smith. And seeing how the Year that never was change her character so much, it would be interesting to see the version of her we got later on as a full time companion. We haven’t had a shoot first, ask questions later kind of companion in the new series and the later version of Martha could have brought an interesting dynamic to the Tenth Doctor’s point of view, you could even have Micky re-join the Tardis and set us the relationship we sore in End of Time Part 2”. You could also anser the question who that weird guy who told Marther's mother not to trust the Doctor in the Lazarus Experiment, was. It might also change her character is so mean ways and change some meany of the stories in the series like Forest of the Dead and Turn Left. Would she become the Doctor/Donna (or in this case "the Doctor/Martha)? What would her worlds in the library main frame or the imaginary world in Turn Left look like? Would her feel the same way as Donna did in Fires of Pompeii? What would happen with her in the Sontaran Two Parter? Who would take her place in the Doctor's Daughter. What would she come back in the 60th Anniversary?
