Description

Batman Returns is my favourite Batman movie, so I wouldn't to change it too much, but for those who thought a lot less of it than most, this might help. I prefer it when the Batman movies have different villain each time, but the Joker is more important to Batman's mythos than any other villain in Batman universe. Jack Nicholson's version of the Joker is the best screen portal of this character of all time if you don't count Joaquin Phoenix, so having more of him and developing his relationship with Michael Keaton's Batman even further would be a real blessing, especially if you bring Catwoman into the mix. So in this version, Joker replaces Max Shreck in the movie and tries to help the Penguin become a normal person, but is really trying to use him for his own schemes, and "he" is the leader of the Red Triangle Gang as it makes more sense in a visual sense. In the end, both the Penguin and the Joker as such a powerful threat that both Batman and Catwoman have to team up to stop him.
