Description

I made this as a prologue to my last What if Tom Baker had left earlier? theory as I'm not comfortable with the idea of Jon Pertwee having more Seasons than Tom Baker despite Tom Baker being more popular. So, as an alternative, I made this theory of what if Jon Pertwee had left a Season earlier, so Between would have four season and Baker would five.

Season 10:

A few, thing chance in Season 10 now Jon Pertwee is leaving, first, Frontier in Space is not made to make room for Sara Jane Smith's introduction, Carnival of Monsters in moved to the next season and the now unmade Final Game (which wasn't made do to Roger Delgardo's death) is now made with Roger Delgardo still being alive and in this season. Yes, he did die before the last story of Season 10 was made but there would be no Frontier in Space was Maby all the time that was used to film that would be used to film the Final Game instead. Jo Grant still leaves in the Green Death, but Sara Jane Smith is now introduced in that story to set up her job as a journalist, being the one who reports on the mine. This would also mean that the really powerful ending of the Green Death would be slightly spoiled, and Jo Grant and Sara Jane would recognise each other in the Sara Jane Smith Adventures episode "Death of the Doctor". Also, I've added the unmade story the Shape of Terror by Brian Hayles as the intimate story to properly introduce Sara Jane to the Tardis. Some of you might be wondering how the Final Game would affect the Doctor Who franchise going forward as not only would this story kill off the Master but reveal that him and the Doctor where brothers. Well, I don't think it would be permanent. As the old saying goes "no-one every really dies of TV" besides, Evil of the Daleks was supposed to kill off the Daleks and they came strait back five later. So, I imagine they would do the same for the Master. Also, this would mean that Sara Jane would recognise the Master when he showed up in the Five Doctors.

Season 11:

This has all the same stories in it except for Planet of the Spiders which has been replaced with the previously muted Carnival of Monster. The 4th Doctor's first story would be Invasion of the Dinosaurs, meaning that Malcolm Hulke would get to write for the 4th Doctor which he never got to do in aware timeline. Also, Harry Sullivan would be introduced a season earlier as I still think they would have had a older actor in made to play the 4th Doctor. Time Warrior is now six parts instead of four and the season would end with the Monster of Peladon rather than Planet of the Spiders, meaning the 4th Doctor would get a story with the Ice Warriors unlike in aware timeline and Brain Hayales would also get to write a 4th Doctor story.

Season 12:

Since the 4th Doctor has already been introduced, the season starts with Ark in Space and ends with Terror of the Zygon as was originally planed. Robot isn't made but and Harry Sullivan has two seasons to his name rather than just one and a bit. Some may say he would have left at the start like he did in Season 13 but I would want him to say longer and plus it's more convenient if he does.
