This sculpture has natural clay colors (fimo classic has quite bright and good colors). But my three last sculptures are painted with different model paints (mostly the vallejo model color).

Can I ask what the guitar has to do with it? Lyra plays the harp (explains the cutie mark). But I love these models to bits. Ever thought of selling them?

Guitar is totally unrelated to pony fandom. It was made long ago, when I only started to deal with clay. Unlike other such silly stuff I made it somehow fits perfectly to Lyra (insert human_Lyra joke here).
Octavia is not for sale.
Lyra is going to be sold on Auction at Galacon .

What's awesome is that it's 2.8 inches high. Did you use any sculpting tool to help you get this precision? : O

Yes, I used kind of carver tool like this and modeling knife to work on details. Also homemade tools and shapers I made was very useful too.

holy gosh she's gorgeous! that paint work is incredible! the only thing off is how the eye highlights are a little patchy. try to use more layers of white next time but other than that this is AMAZING! <3

Sooth to say, it's a clay natural colors. I draw only eyes, cutie mark and some shadows. But yes, I've got lots of problems with painting and paint itself.

A very nice and clean sculpt with buckets of character. The painting is top notch as well.
