I always thought she and Rick were really good friends. I don't call myself a "shipper," but I totally would have been interested in Rick and Lucy being a couple. Strangely, I seem to prefer Rick and Misaki Haruka better.

I always did feel kind of bad for Lucy. I don't know if she had any feelings for Wheeler, but either way, he was already taken.

That's something I didn't like from Falcon Densetsu. Rick is like "hey I'm still loving my assassin girlfriend after 150 years aaand after she tried to kill me several times". Yes, Miss Killer was brainwashed by Black Shadow, but Rick didn't have a emotional sequel or aomething like that... It isn't as easy as he did!
During ALL Falcon Densetsu, Lucy is with Rick. She joined thanks to him, and except during the episode of Leon (where there's a bit of Human!Leon x Lucy, and at the end of the episode Rick x Lucy), she IS in love with him. Until the final episodes of Falcon Densetsu she doesn't accept that he will be with Haruka and not with her, and she proposes to help them to be together. Everybody is surprised (especially Jack Levin, who knew perfectly the feelings of Lucy), and it seems that Lucy did that just to make Rick happier.
In conclusion, I looove Rick x Lucy, more than Rick x Haruka (Miss Killer is nice at the beginning, but when she knows she's Haruka she starts to be annoying).

It does seem a bit odd. I mean, Rick and Haruka were apart for so long, and I'm pretty sure he thought that she was dead in the beginning--since he time traveled. I'm not saying it's unfair that he reunited with Haruka in the end, but I do feel that Lucy was kind of cheated out of her own end-of-the-show victory. I think at the very least, the makers could have put something in near the end of the show hinting that Lucy eventually found love. Unfortunately, we're just left at a cliffhanger, as far as Lucy goes.
