Description
This is me standing with a part of American history- Mr. Rudy Nappi and his wife. Rudy Nappi was an artist who worked on a variety of things: pulp magazines, dime store detective novel covers, children's books, the Sears catalog, greeting cards, comics, and so much more. But what he is most famous for is being the most prolific artist on the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books. For about twenty years, Mr. Nappi defined the look of the number one detectives for kids and teens. He was gracious enough to do a program for one of our libraries and it was a real joy to have met the man and his wife!
