Okay, something different for a change, as most of you "should" know, the lovely Jennifer Hale plays the role of Commander Shepard in Mass Effect, but it seems like Hale wants to add another Commander Star to her collection. Hale is now in the role of Spartan IV Commander Sarah Palmer. A bit interesting considering that Halo was once the leading Sci-Fi franchise in the industry(yes I know Star Wars has lots of games, most fantastic, but I'm talking more "original" ) but now probably being out shot by Mass Effect and a few others. Doesn't matter who Hale plays, she just too dam awesome. Top image is from the CGI Sequences, bottom is from ingame (Halo 4's campaign) And of course on the right is my Femshp that you all have been lots of, still tear abit seeing her like that
For those that don't own Halo 4, you should head over to Youtube and check out "Halo 4 Spartan Ops Episodes", Palmer might not be Femshep, but she a bit of a badass, I hope they keep her alive till Halo 5!!

Hey that's interesting! ( and like you said, both characters are so badass! *_*) The funny thing is, in the German Synchro versions it is Cortana who has the same voice like FemShep. ^^

And thats the reason that whenever she comes on in Halo 4 i can't help but shout at my t.v - "Its not Commander Palmer it Commander f***ing Shepard!!" xD either way she's a badass.

I know right??? I remember playing through the game, and when you get to the scene where Rio orders Palmer to arrest Chief, I was thinking...."Yeah, Shepard you might be a badass, but your no Spartan II, go get Garrus, Wrex, and Grunt and then maybe you will have a shot."
That's probably one of the many traits of Shepard's character that I love, more towards Femshep though. Shepard is a flesh and blood human, no advance cybernetics (making her stronger, we all know she has them to keep her alive) no over done sexy-ness with her, lets be honest people, female soldiers don't look like super sexy Lara Croft with gigantic assets. Making her more "real" more "human"!!

There is not enough awesome in the universe. Hale simply sought to rectify this single-handedly. GREAT POSTER! I *love* switching from *being* FemShep commanding other people, to having her boss me around.
Anyways... I admin a Facebook page caled Mass Effect Female Shepard, and I'd love to post your pic into one of the page's albums with your permission. I'd include reference to you as artist and link to your original here on DA in the photo caption if I did. Would you be OK with that..? No idea when I'll post it - just going round asking for permission from artists today (best to do a group request as not everyone sits on the DA account watching incomming comments like a hawk and replying to them straight away!).

Ah...that one along with the bottom left came off the internet, wish I could have gotten a better image, but thats what happens with secondary characters. There were barely any highres images of her, plenty of MC and Cortana, but not her.

Well technically its from the CGI vids from the Spartan Ops episodes, I found it by searching Bing Images, I could have grabbed a screencap off youtube, but too much clipping

She is also one of the better voice actors IMO in the ME franchise. I hate to say it but Mark Meer didn't get his VA skills in order until ME3. And even then he sounded a bit like a robot. FemShep by Hale at least has emotion and passion in her voice that makes the character believable.

So completely agree with you...Meer has a few good moments, but most of his lines were very bland. One of the worse lines that comes to mind is when Tali is romanced, and all he says is "Its okay, come here"...I'm sorry but Tali is too much of a sweetheart for that tone he used. Now Hale...so many awesome lines, both for Paragon and Renegade...one of my favorite lines, Garrus and Shep romance goodbye scene at the FoB, she sounds like she was just about to cry at that point...thats real emotion, real passion in a character, one more reason why I love ME, why I always will love it.
