Description
It was a cold, winter night and Ann-Jay was on her way home from the video rental store with her dinner in one hand, and a paper bag with a TV drama inside in the other. The sliding doors to the rental shop closed behind her as she walked out. She looked upto the sky with a sigh and continued walking to the bus station. Loud music and peoples' laughter from the host club next door broke the silence as a young boy with black hair and a tux walked out. Older women in tiny dresses were following him, beckoning him back inside the dark bar. He sighed and shook them off. He pulled one of his hand out of his pocket and waved to them as he started walking away saying, "I'm done for the night, go away."
Ann-Jay watched him in awe as the host-boy started walking her way. He went up to her and chuckled a little, his shoulders shaking, "You don't want people watching you with your mouth hanging open like that."
She realized that her mouth in fact, WAS open a little and she hasn't noticed it until now. She thanked him by bowing and her DVDs fell out on into the thin layer of soft snow covering the ground.
