Endzone Round 4Mr. Seles vs. Dood Palette
Next Page: [link]
Comments: Ah.. what I had to do to condense this into a form I could finish. I'm posting this ahead of the new deadline because I have school work that is more important.
Some notes about the artists I used. Leo and Mikey hated each other with a passion. Leo was lazy, and Mike was a gruff guy. Mike also was apparently gay, and felt conflicted aout it. hence why I added that line about 'carnal thoughts'. Dali was eccentricly crazy... XD He had a larger part in my original plan.. i feel bad for cutting his cameo so short.

I think I'm right in saying that this is really the first time we've seen Seles do the conventional villain thing (the whole "Blood ! I NEED YOUR BLOOD!"), and he does it so well! Up until this point he'd pretty much been your cold-hearted indifferent holier-than-thou type, so it's nice to see a bit of true passion in him, as conniving and conceited as his motivation may be.
And there's something hilarious about a giant naked Deus-Seles statue, too.
Great stuff.

This is pretty funny. I really like the way Mr. Seles handles these fights.
Also-- does your Dali have some Magritte blood mixed in? Or does he have access to the Surrealists' collective oevre?

I couldn't draw his odd humanomorphic landscapes in some sort of attack form.. so i drew a train shooting out of his cape. When i was in the sketch process I was vaguely sure it was Dali who had the train, but then I realized afterwards it was another artist. I stuck with it just for a laugh. >_>

wow this is spectacular, seriously if this doe3sn;t get you into the next round the judges must be on some sort of drug because this is fantastic, great story telling and the art was better then previous one too.

Iiiiiiiii'm gonna comment on this, as this one had Dali in it.
Your representations of Dali, Leonardo and Michaelangelo had me cackling. Absolutely cackling. And the spaghetti monser indeed!
Oh god, I love art history humour. XD
And Mr Seles is a dick! A big, profitable dick! Excellent villain developement! I approve.
Incidently, did you know that Dali used to crap in drawers when he was a kid? And Leonardo was gay too.

I didn't hear about the crapping in drawers thing. Kid's do the darndest things. And I hear Leo could have been gay, but I didn't know of any letters/poems like Michaelangelo wrote. So I didn't mention that with Leo. Though I suddenly had the idea of a yaoi story with Leo and Mike... x.@ not pleasent to think of though.

I'm pretty sure Leo was gay, but I had no idea that Michaelangelo wrote love poetry! Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw. Cute.
I really don't think they would have made good lovers. I think they would have prefered to die.
Did you know that both of them hated the crap out of Raphael? He had to sneak into the Sistine Chapel to get School of Athens. He really idolized both of them though. Even stuck them in the painting.

Wiki had some of his poems listed. Though i may have misworded that. He wrote 48 funeral epigrams.
"The flesh now earth, and here my bones,
Bereft of handsome eyes, and jaunty air,
Still loyal are to him I joyed in bed,
Whom I embraced, in whom my soul now lives."
I vaguely recall Raphael's liking of Leo and Mike. I didn't know about him having to sneak into the sistine chapel though. XD

Aww, dude, you just lost.
You made an awesome round though. I really didn't envy the judges. And you still have the claim to fame of having Dali, Michaelangelo, and Da vinci in one room.

Yeah! Seles is just purely awesome. This is a great beginning, I can't wait to see what happens next.
