Description Taken near to Arapuni Dam, in the Waikato, north Island, New Zealand, on the way to work one morning.
I changed the shot settings to tunsten to get the effect, the beams of light etc are exactly as captured, the only alteration was the tungsten colouration and then I flipped the photo horizontally as I found the beams direction more pleasing to the eye.

I love the look of the light beams coming in through the trees! I'm guessing it was foggy out, judging by the striking three-dimensional shadows. Photos like this are rare, you're very lucky!

I have a strong resistance against nature shots, specially here in DA. People usually don't make good pictures, they just show some place that is already beautiful. I am glad to see such amazingly-worked light and such care for a pic.

Some of the photo editing programmes have a tungsten setting you can convert your photo too.
