Description
Taken from Hokitika water front on South Island, New Zealand, a tree stump rises from the sands. The entire beach is littered with tree stumps, washed ashore, part trees, and on occasions whole trees. Weather was nearly gale force, torrential rain as this shot was taken before retreating to the car. Tripod, cable release, Lee Big Stopper, the only editing was to use photoshop to burn some of the mid tone areas. Thank you for taking the time to view this work.Simon
