oh gosh i havent pixeled in so long really, but for drawing in general basically since i was really young!! idk it just took a long time for me to get into the swing of it and actually try and develop my style for myself and not to appeal others instead!

I think what really helped me improve is that I stopped focusing on making my art look 100% perfect or i stopped trying so hard to make it look exactly like ____ or ____ etc etc..I just drew for myself and i kind of went along with whatever i started! yeah there are still times i see mistakes that bug me and i fix them but i dont stress over them like I used to since art is supposed to be a relaxing fun thing and not stressful or hard!

That's actually kinda funny you say that, because I just recently decided not to care about what other people like and don't like about my art and go out on my own, kinda like what you did. You're right when you say it's supposed to be fun and not stressful, and (when I finally find my tablet pen again), I plan to make it so ;<;Β
