When you first try and interact with Simon, he's rather silent at first. It takes time for him to start talking to you more, not the fact that he's shy. He just really tries to get to know you and evaluate how to interact with you. Once you're his friend, he'll go out of his way to make you smile; and if he find your cute, he'd be a little flirty. Simon is really mellow though, so just expect a whole bunch or chill sessions. However, when he's in the active mood, he'll invite you to do either yoga, surfing, jamming out, or skateboarding with him. Don't expect to know about much of his past, he's rather secretive about it even though he doesn't have anything to hide.

History

Simon grew up in the beautiful tropics of Undella Town of the Unova Region. As a child, he spent almost all of his time at the beach. He wasn't the best student in school, he'd skip often to practice his surfing/skate boarding. This reflected a lot in his grades, once his parents became aware of this, he was sent off to a boarding school far from his town. Simon hated being land locked, he attempted so much of his time trying to find a way off the campus.

One day while skipping classes, he was caught by the school's janitor. Rather than turn him in, he attempted to try and reason with him, made him focus his energy into something else to find peace for the meantime. He promised him guitar lessons only if he were to go to class. He agreed, and after school, he'd go hang out with the janitor. He taught him many other things over the years, such as yoga, meditating, and finding his inner peace. Graduation was coming around, and things were looking very promising for Simon. He'd finally would be able to go back to Undella Town and see the beautiful beach he's missed so much. He said his good byes and thanks to the janitor on his late day on campus. He received a gift from him, it was his reggae hat he always wore, and a water stone to evolve. Simon evolved right there on the spot and wore the hat everyday since then.

Simon finally arrived back home, he was now a high school student, and his parents expected his old habits to be a thing of the past. But, once he saw the beach again, he couldn't resist. He'd be careful and only skipped school during unimportant days where he wouldn't miss much. He kept this up throughout all of high school and managed to graduate on time. But now the question was, what to do now that he didn't have to worry about school. He set out to travel the region all on his own. Simon never felt so free, he was never able to fully do whatever he wanted. He traveled for about five years just exploring the world, and he felt inner peace with himself. Perhaps it was time to finally settle town in a town and start a house hold of his own.
