Description
SlitherThe Serpent of the Seventh Pit, feeder on the sick and the weak, was summoned forth in the last days of the war between Man and Beast. A cunning conniver and whisperer of false promises, Slither delights in suffering and despair.

this one looks too mutant, less reptile. though you captured the form (almost) right, the immediate feel isn't 'slither' yet. first thought when i saw this was a cross between the ninja turtles and the lizard from spiderman. think frogs, not dragons.

I wouldn't say Slither is a reptile. I don't know about your last comment, don't you think you're pushing your personal preference a bit too much? I don't know if you actually know Slither's design, but I definitely don't think he looks anything frog-like.

that is my personal opinion. yes i was pushing it a bit too far i guess, sorry for that.
as for the original concept, i have little clue (i read somewhere he was a cursed man or something, meh). but for in-game appearance, i will have to press on the fact that the character has not been captured yet in this picture, and i sincerely say that with the current texture it does not project the essence of the character (in-game, that is). form-wise, it is good. maybe frogs or reptiles wouldn't be the right words, my point was that i assumed the entire look of it represented a different thing (it resembled most of yr paintings, which are dragons).
Still, i guess you maybe had worked based off different sources of references, such as the concept art of Slither instead of in-game, so then my comment would have little significance.
my suggestions would be to shift the hue down a tad and give a nice, smooth variation in the overall tone (again, frogs), as well as adding sharp highlights in parts and pale highlights in smears if you supposedly intend to go for a 'slithery eel' look.

Oh I'll definitely agree with you on that 
I don't know, for some reason it bugs me when people say I draw only, or mostly dragons. Out of the 28 pictures prior to Slither (on that gallery page), only 7 are dragons, and that was in a period when I drew them more than I do now. Not to mention that from my newer pictures, practically all of the dragons are commissions (so, paid work). Ah well. Guess I'll always be known for them a bit :/. It's a reputation that's hard to get rid of. I'd rather be known for overall creature/character design.

Slith's such an eyecandy, I mean running around newerth with his head swinging severely on both sides walking like some kind of Hairless chicken/reptile hybrid. lol!

I know right, haha. I wanted it to look a wee bit more realistic XD. I now realize I didn't follow the reference much at all, I more went by what I remembered seeing in the game
