Marcy Wu is such a wonderful character in Amphibia. She's wonderful, funny, complex, loving and interesting. But despite all these positives, I feel that she may have needed much more screentime. According to TvTropes, Marcy is listed under They Wasted A Perfectly Good Character. Marcy never gets a speaking role in Season 1 and barely appears in Season 3 with most of her screentime in that season being possessed by the Core. This culminated in her Character Development all happening in "All In" (which is the penultimate episode, by the way). Not to mention most of her potentially angsty storylines, such as dealing with her family (who NEVER APPEAR AT ALL in the show) moving for her Dad's new job, her guilt of sending Anne, Sasha and Herself to Amphibia and the aftermath of Andrias literally stabbing her in the back and the possession of her by The Core and all the other emotions that she would've felt are either not fully developed, rushed or ignored in favor of showing her happy-go-lucky side. Heck some fans wanted to see her go fully angry like Anne and Sasha did at several points..
