Out of all the animated films that flopped in the US, Mr Bug Goes to Town is one of the few that would've never become a box-office success no matter what. I can name many reasons. It barely had any promotion from Paramount, World War II cut off all distribution in the worldwide market, the Fleischer brothers had a harsh falling out after the movie came out and people weren't that interested in it at the time. But what if it actually was a Box-Office success? Would it have changed the film industry?
