Adorable.
It's that mix of child-like curiosity and that animalistic crouch, and he seems to be so perfectly in the moment - ready to either strike out with the knife or move away in any direction (the way the feet are spaced apart would allow a very quick roll to any side).
And of course the forest setting is perfect, and I like all those details - moss, shrubs, farn.
All in all, it fits in beautifully with what I remember of the Rahan comics.

Technique wise, the posture and lighting are good. You might try cropping the upper portion until your eyes are in the upper third line. It may give you more power and focus to your target.

L'idole de mon enfance !
Si je devais être tatillonne je dirais que la pause semble un petit peu exagérée. Rahan fait mine d'être un homme civilisé parmi les Hommes préhistoriques. Et la photographie est peut-être un peu trop frontale à mon goût.
Mais autrement je trouve l'ensemble très chouette. La lumière est belle en particulier pour arcade !
