Dunstanburgh Castle, Northumberland, England.Set off at 3am in order to reach this spot in readyness for what I was hoping to be a good sunrise - didn't quite materialise on this occasion however! Nonetheless I think I've done the best with what I was provided.
Maybe next time I'll be more fortunate!!!

Hi, sorry for the late reply, been busy and not had time to check into DA! I'm very glad you like my image, but I'd prefer you didn't use it. I'm not comfortable with the idea of having it associated with religion seeing as I'm not a believer. I hope you understand and appreciate my concern.

Good effort I say! Great capture and worth the trouble, sure to be a splendid sunrise next time.
I still long to visit beautiful Northumberland and especially Banburgh Castle as it played a part in my family history 100s of years ago! Check out the Forster family! I will one day get there and certainly take my Nikon and some ND grads!

Well there may not have been an outburst of colors but you really did great. I love the cool tones, the sky has great movement and you caught the reflections of the light on the rocks!
