"Duty.

In times of need, there are those who put aside their own personal interests for the needs of others. Without delay, they rush forth towards the call, for a purpose that benefits the well being of others. Whether it is to engage in espionage, to rescue those in peril, or to fight in war, these soldiers will lay down their lives for their missions, ones that are ultimately for the greater good.

Throughout the endless collective of fictional history, there are three individuals who I feel encapsulate the standards of duty beyond the capabilities of all others. It is through their shining examples of determination, altruism, perseverance, and adaptability that showcase how strong the sense of duty can be. No matter the size of the opposition, no matter the strength, no matter the hardship and turmoil that await them in the neverending battle, these men, these warriors, these soldiers face down the enemy and their own fears to see their goals through to the end.

Solid Snake of Metal Gear, Carter Grayson of Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue, Master Chief of Halo.

Their tales give immense insight on what exactly it means to give one's being to the sake of the mission, to believe in a cause so dearly that the success of said mission overrides any and all self-interest and self-preservation. Without question, their ties to the concept of duty is iconic and goes to show just how powerful it can be."

What a fancy boi he be speakin about all that there Duty and stuff! aight so now 'm legally required to give my opinion on the characters or else the bears will eat me.

Carter Greyson: SWEET BABY JESUS I'VE ACTUALLY WATCHED LIGHTSPEED RESCUE! I CAN ACTUALLY TALK ABOUT CARTER! ITS A MIRACLE! Okay so like, Lightspeed Rescue's the first PoweR Rangers Series I've watched in full, and as an introduction to the series it was pretty rad. Quikly surpassed by RPM which I watched after Lightspeed, but still it's one cool cats series. Carter's pretty neat, defnitely one of the strongest characters n Lightspeed, right next to his Boss Mr. Mustache Supreme, and Cowboy Hat Jones . . . LISTEN IT'S BEEN AWHILE I MOVED, MY MEMORY IS BAD! The Lightspeed outfit looked best on him, but also I'm super glad I didn't have to draw his ranger form, cause the last time I did I experienced hell.

Solid Snake: Still haven't played Metal Gear! In full at least, one day I'll finish the first one that I got on PS3, one day . . . So Snake's cool from what I've seen. Drawing him was neat, especially the head part of his design . . Sam Fisher vs Snake Death Battle was pretty cool . . . Yeah I got nothing

Master Chief: don't even own an X-Box. I didn't even know this dude had a personality to speak of on account of my general ignorance. But hey, he looks neat, he was easily the hardest character to draw in this whole thing. He'd probably be neat to see in Smash Bros, and I say that as someone who prefers more stylized or weird looking characters as newcomers. (Good job making it obvious that this pc is old in about two years when the DLC's done). That Big Mac Meme with Master Chief was funny
