Oh, this is too cute! I love how you shaded her dress and hair in those gorgeous orchid-colored shadows; so few people think to add color and life to their cell shading. And the global lighting too - you must have put a lot of thought into your shading! I also enjoy how you always manage to convey so much emotion in your characters' poses - she looks so confident and queenly, for lack of a better word. Awesome stuff!

Thanks, I've been trying new tricks to help with the shading. I'm glad this easy-going-cell-shading is going down quite well. Its simple and easy on the eyes.
For all my background and building mistakes and failures, I like to think I make them up in people and expression. At the end of the day, I value people and expression over buildings and backgrounds.

My favourite game was SNK vs Capcom Cardfighters Clash for the LONGEST time. Someone in the game calls you a 'card demon' if you beat them. For a while, I called myself Card Demon but it sorta rolled into Queen somewhere down the line. In a nutshell, it comes from my love (and occasional prowess) of card games.
