Anyone else absolutely LOVE these movies? I grew up with them therefore love them ^_^ The first one I ever saw was the 3rd one "The Time of the Great Giving" I watched it everyday like 3 times a day XD Yes and Ducky is my favorite shes so cute and also my favorite dinosaur the parasauralophus. These sketches are from the Original Land Before Time, The Great Valley Adventure, and "The Time of the Great Giving" I don't know which one that Petrie one is from though. Also I can't really draw reptiles very well so yeah or Littlefoot's mother though they don't look that badRelated content

I too grew up with this series. I remember it fondly, and always thought the sequels were just as profound and relevant as the original. That is, even if they allegedly were made for MCA Universal to cash in on franchising, they still had some unique qualities in their own right; for one thing, Michael Tavera's music is majestic and somewhat rivals James Horner's, and the sequels had a vibrant atmosphere for another. Glad to see a devoted fan.
But here's a funny story. I actually saw the original first, but the VHS of it my family owned was circa 1995, and began with a preview for "The Time of the Great Giving", which was kind of a sweetening of the pill of what was to follow.
Speaking of "The Time of the Great Giving", I thought it's opening had a more epic, documentary-like quality that I'd like to say surpasses that of the original. What do you think?

You drew the characters so well,especially Chomper! I'm a Sigur Ros fan and their song "Ara Batur" reminds me of this movie. The climax of the song would fit SO WELL with the part where Littlefoot and friends find the Great Valley
