Hello! I thought I'd go ahead and create a little (closed/semi-open) species just for fun, since it seems like a neat thing to do, and I have the time. : >

NOTE: Sometimes I will give away free customs or MYOs. This is why the species is called "semi-open."

Basic Information

The Bistro is a planet similar to Earth that exists an another timeline. It is home to a canine species called Brewcurs. These unique creatures are born in dull shades of tan and grey, and "Steep" as they mature. The first "open" drink a Brewcur is introduced to becomes a part of them. If the drink is closed, or taken, the Brewcur remains dull. The Steeping process causes a Brewcur's appearance to change so that it resembles the appearance and ingredients of the drink.

Details

Brewcurs come in three Flavors. The first is dairy-based; these pups are based on things like root beer floats or milk tea. The second Flavor is fruit-based; these Brewcurs are based on drinks such as berry smoothies and fruit teas. The final Flavor is "other," which includes drinks like water, or Brewcurs that are both fruit and dairy based, such as blueberry milkshakes.

Brewcurs also have Classes. The first out of two Classes is civil. A civil Brewcur is more likely to have accessories and a more neat, less natural design colors/markings-wise. A feral Brewcur lives outside the cities and in places like forests of plains, and they have more natural designs and fewer accessories.

NOTE: Any Brewcur can have multiple straws. This is not a rare trait. However, Brewcur cannot have two straws of different rarities.

Physical Appearance and Design Rules

Brewcurs all have small, compact body structures, like they are all puppies despite their ages. They have large eyes and ears, and can have a bit of extra fur around their tails and on their heads. All Brewcurs must have a drip pattern as part of their markings, cheek spots, and a straw somewhere on their bodies. The straws can be in their fur, in their tails, or even on their heads like horns. They can have up to three straws, and straws expel bubbles when a Brewcur feels threatened. Some Brewcurs have liquid tails, and floppy or folded ears are more common than mismatched or pointed ones.

NOTE: Longer/styled hair or fur atop a Brewcur's head is an uncommon trait.
