I recently caved in and bought LadyLittlefox's Amy Hair with Silver and Countess's ToXic colours because it's a beautiful, cute cut and they're awesome textures... and immediately wondered if they'd suit a male character.So I promptly had to dial up an anime-style character to see.
Unfortunately, halfway through preparing the scene, the name Summerskill popped into my head and promptly attached itself to the character.
Et vΓ²ila, I'm suddenly landed with a new character.
Should be noted, the hair is nice and quite easy to draw traditionally too... XD

It's 100% Daz|Studio. XD
The hair is Amy Hair with the ToXic addon, both from RuntimeDNA - which is still down right now. 
I think that about covers it... XD;

It doesn't come with that colour (but it does come with some lovely ones) - the colour is "ToXic Amy" by Silver and Countess at RuntimeDNA... well worth it, there's 100 textures in their pack! Gods know how I'll ever use them all...

They're gorgeous, aren't they? There are so many beautiful combinations too, so you may be seeing this hair a fair bit... >_> 100 textures! They must've been working overdrive...

His hair is absolutely beautiful, and the textures are fantastic!! This is about as anime as it gets when it comes to designing a character~ xD Your getting better and better at this every day!
..and your absolutely right, it would definitely be easy to draw traditionally!

The sad thing is, I had actually gone to buy another hair, but since the other hair was no longer on sale I saw this and thought it looked awesome, would (possibly) suit male characters more than the first hair and (bonus!) was on sale~ To a certain degree I guess it was a happy accident.
...And not an hour later I thought long and hard about the separate colours, and caved in and bought them - together with the original hair I'd gone to buy before falling in love with this one. The modeller that does the hairs is so talented, I failed to resist. XD;;
I could possibly still make him more anime... There's a head morph that came with the skin texture I used that's very, very anime (and beautiful), Final Fantasy style... but I'm weird and enjoy the dial-spinning experience making faces like this. 
What I didn't anticipate is that whilst it was easy and fun to draw, it's, er, not so easy to colour.

Ahh thats not so weird haha im sure its very beautiful though and cant wait to see it! Aww Ioann is upstaged xD Its for the better, its for the better! Its funny, because your so happy when you have your lineart and so excited and then you realize you face the challenge of coloring the lineart and possibly making it crap

There's a really nice thread at Daz showing the Elite textures, and one of the Creative Services team did a mini how-to on the processes behind their promos. It's just here, and a very interesting read too. I tried to follow points of it and learned some new postwork tricks as I went - which was the bit I found most interesting, because I really am not very good at postwork.
I did somewhat overdo one of the specular lights though... but after two renders of 6-7 hours each, I figured it'd probably better to incorporate it than try again.

Hehe, I think so~ And the colours are so gorgeous, I think I might end up using this faaaar too much for my own good...
My NaNo group has a 'challenge' where we try to write a story a month for the year - we tried it last year too, and we even managed to last for about four months! XD - so I think I might try to tell the stories of this guy, Ioann and Myletis in a set of short stories... Anything to deal with all these characters that keep appearing. XD;;;

I tried a bit and failed horribly. I also had tried to render it but it never took >< So I need to download everything again. And I think make sure it was registered or something like that. Cause when I did it was just letting me do very little. So I think I had forgotten to register at that time. But yeah...Maki in 3D would look sexy
