Seriously?! No one has a problem with this?! I ship Linumi first but then Linzin. I just do not like Pema especially at that episode in season one where she was telling Korra how to steal Mako using Tenzin as an example. But this is what writers who do fan fics hope you won't notice. You can't actually have Pema at any close point in their twenties because she was still in diapers! Neh! I think Tenzin was since his youth under heavy pressure to get as many Kids as possible. Still it seems he waited a llong time for Lin, but Lin just didn´t made their move. So he had to move on.

I would think it would be more about doing it before Lin could no longer have kids. She has a career she wants to pursue as well still don't like the fact that my favorite character doesn't have someone.

Me either until I asked around, she does look a bit younger but not by much which is why I was so shocked. She is getting a bit grey but that is to be expected having birthed and raised a bunch of airbender babies. Linumi is LinxBumi, I think it would be sweet because she could mature him up a bit more and he would really treat her right and might even get a few smiles out of her.

Pema is about 16 years younger than Tenzin, but Tenzin didn't even become a father until he was 41. Which would have made Pema 25 at the time.
Also, I use Pemzin as justification for supporting Irosami. And Linumi is more fun than Linzin could ever be anyway.

How are we using pemzin for Irosami? Curious as Tartarus. I love Linumi the best but still hate Pema. They really shouldn't have had Tenzin going out with Lin in the show if the only mention it is going to get is Tenzin saying it's why she doesn't like Korra. Nothing, maybe I wouldn't hate Pema if she hadn't been a tiny bit responsible for my idol being alone.

People who oppose Irosami either do so because they support Korrasami or because they don't like the age gap between Iroh and Asami. But the two of them are closer in age than Tenzin and Pema are, so to me the age difference isn't a good reason to oppose that ship.
As for Lin not liking Korra, Tenzin just assumed it was because he was going easy on her and that Lin didn't approve of his decisions because of some chip on her shoulder. But he was wrong. The reason Lin didn't like Korra at first was because she reminded her of Suyin; so much potential, and she used it to break the law. Yeah, Lin holds grudges, but her beef with Korra was due to her grudge against Su, not Tenzin.

I know why Lin doesn't like Korra I was just saying that and Jinora shouting "stay away from my dad's ex girlfriend" was all we heard of it. The ex girlfriend has a name you know. What an odd thing to call her in the middle of a battle. Well I guess I don't like Korrasami and don't really pay attention to Asami. Not saying she's bad, I just don't care about her. I don't really oppose the pairing. Any pairing besides pemzin beats a pairing with mako in my book (my views on it I don't care for Mako. He isn't goddess awful at least he isn't that bad in this book 4)

Well, Korra needed to mature a bit and Mako needs to learn how to communicate. That's why Mako's relationships have both failed. He seems to be getting better about that, so if he were to start up a relationship now with anyone, it would feel more natural than it would have in previous seasons.

Sozin was 82 when Azulon was born. Sozin's wife was very likely 50 years his junior or more. Ta Min had to have been in her 70s when Rina was born. Ursa had her youngest child no earlier than 44 years old. Toph was 38 when Suyin was born, and if fan favorite pairing Tokka holds true, that would make Sokka 41--the same age Tenzin was when Jinora was born. Iroh didn't have a child until he was at least in his late 30s, and most likely his early 40s.
Long story short, people in the Avatar world tend to wait several years, if not decades, to have kids. Aang and Katara are the only characters confirmed to have had a child while still in their 20s.

They said there would be another one but they would take a long break between them. If I'm correct the avatar after Korra will be a boy earthbender. Part of me would have liked to see a series done about Kyoshi though.

I don't know I am just a major Lin lover and although she doesn't need a man (one would slow her down lol) It kind of irks me that Tenzin is happy with this younger woman and Pema being a baby and not fitting canon into fan fics of them in their youth is just another irritant.

Yeah, it saddens me every time I see Pema and Tenzin happy together with their children. Lin's sister is happy with her children, while Lin is alone. She's strong, but everybody needs someone. I just feel that Tenzin really betrayed her. you can imagine how many years of her youth have been wasted on him, just to run away with a little girl. Anyway, I completely understand your feelings. I only meant that to me, it's fine tat they are 16 years apart.

I want her to meet someone so badly. During season three that part where Lin cried I wanted to punch Korra. Considering how many times Lin saved her hide, yes Lin shouldn't have yelled at Opal but Korra never even bothered to ask Lin's side of the story before attacking her. Lin sacrified her bending without knowing if she would ever get it back and I feel like no one besides Meelo really ever mentioned it again. I agree with you at least give Lin a pet. She shouldn't come home to an empty house.
