PFFFFFTTTTTT!!!This is my final project for my Color Illustration class at the Joe Kubert School. The assignment was to create a video game box cover in any color medium.
So i did Super Mario Bros 3 in a style that is supposed to mimic the vintage, semi fantastical realistic style of the old megaman box covers. Yeah so.... yeah.

Pretty cool, I think you did a good job giving it a campy-yet-serious NES boxart look to it. 
I also like how they're using blocks for platforms, Luigi in the hammer suit, the castle with Bowser looming out of it, and the design of the Doomship are all cool. Great work.

this looks like it would be some of that cool medieval style art you see on the sides of some fair or carnival rides.
