This is powerful. This drawing is one of the pieces of evidence of the world (among many of course) that shows you that who we worship is no slouch.
This is not a negative interpretation of Jesus Christ of Nazareth -- the Son of God and the High Lord of the Cosmos -- in any way whatsoever!
This picture of Christ, though this is only an interpretation of one of his heavenly forms, is celebrating the glory of His power and appreciating the gift of His sacrifice for our sins -- receiving the gift of grace that we do not deserve.
Rest assured, Carlos-Quevedo understands the deep and awesome and ineffable power of the Most God High -- understanding the beauty and extreme deepness and splendour of the light!
Christians who view this depiction of Jesus Christ as 'negative' or 'blasphemous' really need to reevaluate their faith and read the bible more.
For in the book of Revelation, there are physical descriptions of the Son of God that portrays him in such a way that is so strange and surreal that a servant of God would be shocked by some of His heavenly images. In Revelation, when Christ walks through the throne room of God to grab and open a scroll that no one in all of existence is worthy to touch, he is described as a lamb having SEVEN EYES -- no doubt being a hybrid of man and a creation that he saw fit. Of course, that form is one of many of Jesus's transformations. Therefore, read your Bibles and appreciate this work of art. After all, this drawing shows that the light side isn't boring as people expect.

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin...For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:12 (KJV). Very, very fine work, simply excellent, and excellently conceptualised. If I were to imagine the incarnate one, who defeated the forces aligned against Him, and holds the keys of death and hell it might be right here, complete with double-edged sword~~~

This is unfortunately a cruel depiction of the most perfect being, the Lord Jesus Christ. To depict the the sacrifice of the Son of God, would be an impossible feat for even a God. For the Sacrifice was infinite and beyond the comprehension of all except those who endured the wrath of God. The broken stone wings and the veiled head with the less then bright sun behind, seems more like a depiction of mortal under the illusion of the stigmata.
This painting though shows incredible talent. A clear vision of something only you can see. I recommend the next one to be the fall of Lucifer from heaven. Your ability as a great artist with this type of color should show it very well.

I know your comment is about 2 years old, but words last as long as we wield them to last. Therefore, I must tell you this: this isn't a cruel depiction of Jesus Christ -- the Son of God and Supreme Lord of life -- at all.

Thanks, I like to show religious concepts with a twist, my own interpretation from my own background on theology. and what can I say, my mind could be a very dark place.

There's nothing wrong with this piece of work. I am fully aware that this is only your interpretation of the Son of God, but, rest assured, this vision of His redemption speaks volumes of God's ineffable power.
Also, it shows the light side isn't plain and dull that the average person would believe. Therefore, please keep drawing the light side with your powerful vision of it. I'm tired of seeing cool demonic art with angelic art taking the back seat. But you-- your art style actually captures a deep and overwhelming essence of the light. In fact, the Bible describes angelic beings and aspects of God in such a manner that is very similar to your art.
Don't pay too much attention to Galati8825. He's just not used to seeing heavenly art conveyed so terrifyingly beautiful.

Wonderful, beautiful piece. A bit scary, too! Is this figure representative of Christ? If so is it in a positive or negative manner?
Perhaps both if it represents the the Coming.
