A 3D Studio Max render of a Poser character.
Dedicated to who loves this kind of characters and especially her piece " Sillabub 2002"[link] . The title of the graphic is inspired on William Blake's poem Tiger, Tiger. [link]

oh man i never knew MAX could do so much.
never worked on nething other than photoshop, but always wanted to learn MAX.

Oh, well it takes a few tricks, but to be honest I only use MAX to stitch the elements that I create in other programs, like Vue d'Esprit (the sky and water), Painter (the textures), and Poser (the character and the statue). The building was modeled in MAX using bubbles and basic shapes. I import all the elements, and light the scene (MAX has the best lighting tools I've seen), and render it there at 3600x2400 300 dpi.
On the last few graphics I've used Open Canvas to add some spice, but in this case, I didn't. I try not to use Photoshop on anything I do.

dude i am happy using photoshop.
the work i do does not require me to use these softwares.
it was just curiosity.
i am a textile designer & using photoshop since the last 5 years.
it was very nice of you to tell me how you did that masterpiece.
i will try my hand on MAX once i have the time for some R & D.
