I wonder why stars have suck a bad rep when it comes to secret societies and devils?

It's a human trait to see things in patterns. Like constellations in the stars.
This pentagram is upside down for devil worship, at least from our point of view.
If her feet are in the downard direction, the pattern is associated with teh Devil in his goat-like form. The angle her feet are in is where his beard is. The two pointing up (her head and her trident) are where his horns are supposed to be and the two to the side are where his goat-like ears stick out.
