Not at present. The locomotive itself hasn't steamed in a number of years, however upon last inspection when the streamlining was applied (I think) the boiler was found to be in not too bad nick, and could be easily restored to working order. The motion and everything else will have received some attention due to the fact that it was moved from Tyseley to York NRM by rail behind a diesel, so all that is required is attention to the boiler and hydraulic systems (again, I think) to return her to steam and to mainline conditions.

I think it already does have mainline equipment on board, as she was a mainline locomotive before she was withdrawn out of ticket, so just a refresh of vital bits really, not too big a job. But with her being part of the Streamlining A Nation exhibit I wouldn't expect anything to be done any time soon...
