Well technically Roland was referring to Corythosaurus, I heard they changed the dinosaur afterwards.

The paper that Tembo’s actor (I forget his name) was looking at that had the species and information had a Corythosaurus, not a Parasaurolophus. That’s why he refers to it as possessing a pompadour.

But he’s not actually calling the Parasaurolophus Elvis, not once was he ever looking at one. As far as he knew, they were capturing a Corythosaurus. Plus, Parasaurolophus’ crest doesn’t exactly resemble that of a pompadour.

All of that is true. However, it doesn’t change the fact that Corythosaurus is what is being referred to as Elvis. They may take down the Parasaurolophus, but that wasn’t what was originally the case. Thus Parasaurolophus isn’t necessarily the real “Elvis-saurus”
