Okay... So here I have this old Dragon Ball art waaaay back from my teenager years. I used to adore Dragon Ball a lot, you see. This is a cover (sorta) for one of the chapters of a 'WHAT-IF-DRAGON-BALL' comic I used to mess around with...From the 3 I used to draw, this was by far my favourite. It had no made-up characters, just showed a parallel universe of the Dragon Ball World. This universe is way different from the original Z storyline due to one minor change: Piccolo and Goku never succeeded in killing Raditz... He killed both of them, and took off with Gohan. Hence, Gohan was raised by his uncle, and became a saiyan warrior alonside Vegeta, Nappa and of course, Raditz (yeah: The one with the purple stuff is Gohan). Gohan was treated as a mongrel (was also called that way...) blah...blah...blah... Anywho, this chapter is about when the four of them stand up against Freeza... yadda-yadda...etc...etc..*SO...Want a DB commish?

Szóval, most találtam ezt az ezer éves Dragon ball firkálmányomat. Elég régi, szerintem van vagy tíz éves, de poénból kiszíneztem. A lényeg, hogy régen csináltam ilyen "Mi lett volna ha"-szagú db képregényeket, és ez is egy ilyen lenne...a lényeg: Sátán és Goku nem győzték le Raditzot... Mázlija volt, nem lett kilyuggatva.. Lemészárolta a jószívű testvérét meg a jó útra térő uborkát is, és magával vitte a pár éves Gohant. Így Gohant Radditz nevelte fel, aki ugyanúgy (fél)vérbeli csillagharcos lett, mint nagybátyja (meglepetés: a lilára pingált figura lenne ő). Így Raditz, Nappa és Vegita társaságában élt, de sosem kapott tiszteletet egyikőjüktől sem, úgy is hívták, hogy "Korcs", mivel félig ember, ugyebár..blabla...satöbbi satöbbi...
A lényeg, hogy ez a kis rajz azt a fejezetet mutatná be, amikor a négy maki kiáll Dermesztő ellen... satöbbi-satöbbi-dráma-dráma-intrika-intrika...

Definitely a dark future to speculate about, but still as thought provoking as any other "What If". I'd imagine, with the story now squarely focused on Gohan, it would show the young half-saiyans rise among the ranks of the Frieza Force, as well as his interactions with his Saiyan comrades. Although the saiyans were generally looked down upon by others in the Frieza Forces, Gohan would probably be picked on by Vegeta and Nappa for being half-human and a low class warrior like Raditz. Overtime, it could show how both Gohan begin to gain strength and power by embracing the savagery of his Saiyan side.

Maybe he would see Raditz as his only friend and, once he realizes just how much power he truely has, he rebels against Vegeta. Eventually, they fight Freeza and, when he kills Raditz, Gohan snaps and turns Super Saiyan.

Better yet: Vegeta decides to kill Gohan when he actually begins to catch up to his power. Raditz tries to stop him, but only gets killed, leading Gohan to turn SSJ and to obliterate Vegeta.

And after eliminating Vegeta and Frieza after reaching SSJ, where would Gohan go from there? Back to Earth, but there really is nothing truly left for him there. Would he go off and eliminate the last vestiges of the Frieza Forces? Establish his own empire, restart the Saiyan race? What?!

I think there would still be the z-fighters. effectively, they would have gone to Namek, as in canon, but without Frieza and Vegeta to annoy them. Goku would still be alive, now, and Gohan would remember his father talking To him about the Dragon Balls when he was little. He would go to Earth and revive Raditz. Then, I see him forming a space gang like Turles, with Raditz and Piccolo as first members (as he would not have turned good yet. He comes back to space and lives by pillaging. Some members of his forces I could think about are maybe some of Frieza's previous soldiers, Dabura (if he simply kills Babidi) and Majin Buu (if he befriends him).
It's a bit stretched, but it's very interesting To think about!

A lot, actually. First off, if Vegeta is killed by Super Saiyan teen Gohan, Trunks will not exist, and won't come back in time. Future Cell won't either. Cell would be a lot weaker anyway, because he would not have the cells of Vegeta, Nappa, Frieza or King Cold. The only potential candidates would be Goku, and... Piccolo and Raditz? Yeah, he'll look more like a saiyan/namekian hybrid.
We could suppose that Gohan arrives with Nappa (I don't know, maybe Nappa wouldn't have approved of Vegeta's treatment of the child, and Gohan would have spared him?) on Earth as Gero and 19 are destroying the city, and after the brutal murder of Yamcha. With the combined might of the Z-fighters and the two saiyans, they destroy 19 and grievely injure Gero, who would flee and activate 17 and 18. When the gang find him, the two sibblings flee, but they don't kill him just yet, because he was already damaged a lot. Krillin and Goku find the pod of 16 and decide to bring it to Bulma. As for Gohan, Nappa and Piccolo and Tien, they go to fight the androids. Of course, even with the might of Gohan, they lose and maybe Tien or Nappa would even get killed. Bulma, for her part, reprograms 16 so he wants to destroy the two androids instead of Goku and make him ant to protect Earth. When Goku and Krillin arrive, 16 is with them, and his power, who was around Imperfect Cell's level, would be far more than enough to handle 17 and 18.
Now, they use the Dragon Balls to revive the casualties of the Androids events as well as Raditz. Gohan, for his part, recognizes Piccolo's amazing power and asks him to join him, Nappa and Raditz, in their gang.
Damn, I should write my fanfic about it, this is a very interesting scenario...

A cool what if, is what if Vegeta revived Nappa and Raditz with the dragon balls, and made them good. Would they become more powerful than Goku? (Since they pretty much started that way?)
