Okay... So here I have this old Dragon Ball art waaaay back from my teenager years. I used to adore Dragon Ball a lot, you see. This is a cover (sorta) for one of the chapters of a 'WHAT-IF-DRAGON-BALL' comic I used to mess around with...From the 3 I used to draw, this was by far my favourite. It had no made-up characters, just showed a parallel universe of the Dragon Ball World. This universe is way different from the original Z storyline due to one minor change: Piccolo and Goku never succeeded in killing Raditz... He killed both of them, and took off with Gohan. Hence, Gohan was raised by his uncle, and became a saiyan warrior alonside Vegeta, Nappa and of course, Raditz (yeah: The one with the purple stuff is Gohan). Gohan was treated as a mongrel (was also called that way...) blah...blah...blah... Anywho, this chapter is about when the four of them stand up against Freeza... yadda-yadda...etc...etc..*SO...Want a DB commish?

Szóval, most találtam ezt az ezer éves Dragon ball firkálmányomat. Elég régi, szerintem van vagy tíz éves, de poénból kiszíneztem. A lényeg, hogy régen csináltam ilyen "Mi lett volna ha"-szagú db képregényeket, és ez is egy ilyen lenne...a lényeg: Sátán és Goku nem győzték le Raditzot... Mázlija volt, nem lett kilyuggatva.. Lemészárolta a jószívű testvérét meg a jó útra térő uborkát is, és magával vitte a pár éves Gohant. Így Gohant Radditz nevelte fel, aki ugyanúgy (fél)vérbeli csillagharcos lett, mint nagybátyja (meglepetés: a lilára pingált figura lenne ő). Így Raditz, Nappa és Vegita társaságában élt, de sosem kapott tiszteletet egyikőjüktől sem, úgy is hívták, hogy "Korcs", mivel félig ember, ugyebár..blabla...satöbbi satöbbi...
A lényeg, hogy ez a kis rajz azt a fejezetet mutatná be, amikor a négy maki kiáll Dermesztő ellen... satöbbi-satöbbi-dráma-dráma-intrika-intrika...

And you didn't evolve around the teen years any? WEll that's good mostly because you already achieved anything in Toriyama's style ^^ As I said before: "Great Job!"

Yeah well...it is bad because when it comes to drawing there is no such thing as "reaching one's fullest", and I should be able to draw better than in my teen years...although... I learned not to use references. Ever. I hate copied images

Well I still use them for practice, I'm good at drawing bodies, but not poses like fighting, profiles, and other stuff. I use bases as referances, not completely use them but use the poses ^^
And I'm still learning to draw hands. Hands are evil

its crazy....like what would happen if frieza was killed by bardock and never destroyed planet vegeta and son goku was never sent to earth

goku was already sent to Earth then..hmmm... that would do a nice short comic, too. I guess Bardock would be the King (or kid Vegeta) (given that King Vegeta already died), aaaand after a few years he probably could search for his son Kakarot...alongside Raditz, or something like that.

yeah thats true but they probably wouldnt destroy the earth since bardock still had those visions about the future...even though he changed it he would probably leave earth alone and he would rejoice in seeing his long lost son and raditz would be welcomed as well as bardock but vegeta would find out about this and send an army of saiyans to destroy the earth and goku would destroy it with his father brother and son

hahaaaa! I can so see the relevance of that remark! XD Anyways, don't worry, this comic only went as far as going against freeza. Although, By the time the four of them get to face him, gohan became an adult... spoilers: he became a supersaiyan against freeza, when his uncle radditz got his butt whoopped pretty hard. :/ (This Gohan is a crude and tough saiyan thanks to the raising methods of the 3 guys, but still he is a bit emotional)

It just seems like he has no character just like a cookie cutter hero type, but Vegeta is different hes evil but not a villian Vegeta has a dark past no one knows about while Goku got a great chilhood Vegeta had to spend his with a Lizard, a fat peice of bubblegum, and a gay guy with a braid....... poor Veggie
