Honestly, this was one of the more painful ones to make. The pose wasn't difficult, but the rendering was the WORST. After multiple attempts in Cycles, I just wasn't satisfied. So I did this one in Eevee instead. Because Zero's legs were a little thick, I changed up the legs a bit so they wouldn't look to wide apart. I also re-textured the body textures, so it would look more like a silhouette. Plus, the hands have extra light because I put lights to his hands like he's holding them.

The reason why this relates to Mega Man X5 is because it's referencing one of the cutscenes (rather cheap cutscenes, too) in the ending where Zero becomes evil like I assume Dr. Wily, his creator wanted. It's actually my favorite ending of all the ones there are. However, I feel a little bad for saying that because of two reasons. The other endings are so dumb because they fight without much of a reason besides some concern over Zero going nuts. Isn't it best to wait until after the outcome to decide? What if you're wrong all the time? Whether you play as Zero or X in that scenario, the reasons are stupid. Another reason why I feel bad is because how the Maverick Hunter fight and the preceding bosses play. I mean you have the stupid Shadow Devil, which is at least somewhat bearable if you have good response time while you're often ducking or really boring if you cheese the wall jump. Then you have Rangda Bangda, which is all good except the random spikes in a cramped area between walls. Then there's fighting Zero, which gets too easy if you keeping jumping over him. So I feel bad for those reasons, despite loving the idea that Zero finally becomes what he was made to be. I wonder how X would feel after years of friendship.
