Really great work. Very diffrent to a lot of the portrait work on DA. I think it's definetly the shadows that make this piece. I also think the sepia tone is better than the B&W of the siilar picture. The only shadow i'm not the keen on is the one beneath your chin, it is perhaps to big and dense for my taste, all the rest are a lot more subtle and serve to highlight the interesting features of the models body, however the shadow under the chin seem to detach the head from the rest of the body. On a similar note, i'm not sure about the croping of the head. At first i did not actually notice the head was cropped so close (because the rest of the picture is so interesting!). However, the more i look at the pic, the more out of place it seems.
Overall, i would say very interesting and original piece! More like this please!
