China Foreign Ministry spokesperson Jiang Yu saying on Tuesday that the autonomous region's development in Tibet was "better than ever"!!!!!!!I have today signed an petition calling on the Chinese government to respect human rights in Tibet and dialogue with the Dalai Lama. This is really important.
After decades of repression, the Tibetans are sending out a global cry for change.

Nobody wants to accept Tibet is a part of China because it ought not be. It was yanked out of the Tibetan's hands, just ask any old person who'd been in Tibet when the Chinese invaded - Oh sorry, "peacefully liberated" with over a million deaths from killings and starvation, not to mention thousands of monasteries reduced to rubble. There was no slavery - just a classic colonialist excuse of "We modernized you savages, before we came you were pigs, you can't handle yourselves now either so we'll just fucking keep a grip on you". I applaud this deviation, thank you very fucking much.
Tibetans are given Chinese educations that don't teach them Tibetan and even Chinese on the internet will admit that they are shooed away from hotels and restaurants because "they don't want trouble". And people die in Tibet because they can't get simple fucking C-Sections. Just a few months ago some lady died because of some simple medical issue with her pregnancy.
It's the Tibetans who go apeshit for the Free Tibet movement, smart ass. It's THEIR country they want liberated. Western folks are just sympathetic and kind enough to support us.
