I am so infatuated with this piece. There is a softness to your work and it's quite beautiful.

To be honest, I like this more here than in its completed form. I guess I like the softer and simpler tones.

Tips... I struggled for all of first year at Unversity.. trying to make things work.. then I forgot about it and just tried to read and find out about as many artists that inspired me across all backgrounds.. I ended up being very inspired by the work of animators the brothers quay.. that lead to svankmajer, calligraphy, music, kafka, surrealism, automatic drawing, existentialism, outsider art, Henry darger, antonin artaud, joel peter witkin, marquis de sade... and I draw a lot too.. ocd ..

Hi there, I must say your work is absolutely brilliant, reminds me a lot of the 70's-80's era, but much more beautiful, its simple others say, yes I think and no, it is not, it is not so simple, it is unfinished here yet I would be very happy to hang this on my wall as is.
You have a great mind, a wonderful eye, every stroke bares genius, I am now a great admirer of your truly magnificent work, thank you, Mike.

This is really great! I like the dynamic brush strokes and dripping paint. It gives it more of an edge, which is really fantastic. The lines in this painting is amazing. You're an extraordinary artist. Good job
