A screenshot from Level 2 of my NES style game I'm developing. Level 2 is set underground in sorta industrial mining caverns where the bad guys be getting various minerals and stuff.Cool thing - I have a musician who's doing some great music all in NSF format, for that extra NES authenticity. He's doing all the sound effects too. And he's very fast worker. Did three complete tracks all within 24 hours. Still some more to come.

Looking back on all these older versions of this games graphics you can really see the progress. But it always looked good

Yeah it's my game as it's only a loose fangame/sequel with all graphics, characters and coding by me with music and sound effects by a friend of mine.

You've played it? The lil black and white game? I know some people been confusing it with H.E.R.O. which was an old game with you having to descened undergound and blow up walls and save people. But if you've played the little PC game by Daniel Remar then yeah thats the one.

This kind of stuff is some EXCELLENT NES-style material in the caliber of Sunsoftโs Batman on the NES!!! And I wish you sheer excellence in creating your game and making this one such a wonderful success, Amon-Devilman!!

Batman was in fact an influence on this particular level and one of my main influences in pixel art in general

This looks really impressive! Hell, I'd almost pass these off as Genesis grahpics, heh. Is there still going to be the famous Nintendo flicker though?

Oo nice! The background looks like it might be a bit too bright in this one, but other than that, it's great. I'd like to see the other levels sometime!
