I don't see what's wrong with AnimatedSeries!Link. Although I can see why some might consider him a bit annoying, he's quite harmless outside of battle, and he just wants someone to interact with in this picture. I'm starting to feel my sympathy for him is growing by the millisecond nowadays. Will there ever be a time when he's friends with a Link other than CD-I Link (Dini)? It's sad if you think about it. Other than Zelda and King Harkinian, AnimatedSeries!Link has no friends.

I think the one from the CDI games is worse. But the link in the animated series as such a short "skirt" that it is uncomfortable. I don't want to see Link-pantyshots O.o I like the way you drew them. Especially skyward-Link XD

I know, right? People hate him for the stupidest reasons ever, most often his hair being brown. Hey, AnimatedSeries!Link haters who complain about his hair color, NEWS FLASH! TWILIGHT PRINCESS LINK, ZELDA II LINK, ZELDA U LINK, AND SKYWARD SWORD LINK HAVE BROWN HAIR, HYPOCRITES! Another (hypocritical) reason: They say that this Link sucks because he's a bit of a jerk. Why this is hypocritical, you may ask? I don't know, maybe because PEOPLE LIKE SEEING OTHER LINKS BEING JERKS TOWARDS EVERYONE IN PICTURES, VIDEOS, AND COMICS!!! Final reason: He talks. And I haven't had the chance to play that myself, but I did read an article about Faces of Evil and Wand of Gamelon on Hardcore Gaming 101 which actually looked at the games favorably while talking about how they came about and why there was all the problems they had. Comparing what I've seen of actual gameplay footage with the HG101 review, I do have to disagree with the haters regarding said games. Still, I do eventually want to play them myself to get first hand experience and form my own opinions.

As far as I'm concerned, as soon as he had a face capable of expressing emotion, he should have started speaking. After all, the reason he is "mute" is so the player can basically put words in his mouth, but that doesn't work if he already has his own emotions to show reaction to events around him.

It's mostly due to utter shock I would guess. He's kind of a jerk, but I kind of find his personality to be entertaining. Link is normally made out to be very chivalrous. Sometimes he'll be laid back or super serious to go along with that trait as well but it really all depends on where that particular link is from I guess. In none of the games I've play have they ever made him out to be like the one from the show.=^-^=

Well, when the show came out, there was pretty much only Legend of Zelda and Adventure of Link. So they didn't have a whole lot to work with.

Yeah and of course if that Link were talking, it would have very many LOL moments where he wasn't the straight man. They should give it another shot though, I'm sure they would do it justice since LOZ games seldom disappoint. =^-^=
