-English-"What is this, did Carol seriously make a background? OH SHIT ITS DOOMSDAY!"
Yah kinda :I I should kick in Carol in the past's face for not trying out on background, otherwise Carol in the present would have been much better at them!
This picture was more like a test of some sort for me, the initial sketch only had the characters but then later I decided to add the background, and made a challenge for myself to actually finish it...soooo here it is!
I'm not gonna lie, its really not that great, but I think its a little step for me on trying to overcome my lazyness in backgrounds.
First I want to say that I did not used references on the game Crash Bandicoot to make the background (only later for colors) I mostly did them for memory.
So about whats going on in the picture, Carol (the thylacine) on her way escaping Doctor Cortex's lab into the jungle, bumps into Dylan (the dingo) and after their brief introduction one of the modified turtles (the ones with spikes around their shell) passes by them, and Dylan is instantly terrified by this oh-so-dangerous-looking-turtle and jumps on Carol for some sort of protection, while she thinks he is a complete wuss. After that Dylan asks help since almost any enemy he encounters he tries his best to flee and in the end she accepts on helping him out and try to teach him how to deal with enemies, and stop being a wuss.
Crappy story is crappy, but what can ya do? I'm not a writer.

"O que é isso, a Carol realmente fez um fundo? OH SHIT É O FIM DO MUNDO!"
É mais ou menos :I Eu deveria chutar no rosto da Carol do passado por nao ter tentando fazer fundos, senao a Carol do presente estaria muito melhor neles!
Esse desenho foi mais um tipo de um teste pra mim, o rascunho inicial so tinha os personagens, mas depois decidi adicionar um fundo, e eu fiz o desafio pra mim mesma de realmente terminar... entao aqui esta!
Eu nao vou mentir, nao estao muito bom, mas acho que é um pequeno passo pra mim em derrotar a minha preguiça com fundos.
Primeiro eu quero dizer que eu nao usei referencias do jogo Crash Bandicoot pra fazer o fundo (so depois pras cores) eu fiz a maior parte por memoria.
Entao sobre o que esta acontecendo no desenho, Carol (a tilacino) no caminho dela de escapar do laboratorio do Doutor Cortex para a floresta, acaba se esbarrando em Dylan (o dingo) depois de uma curta introduçao uma das tartarugas modificadas (as que tem espinhos ao redor do casco) passa por eles, e Dylan fica aterrorizado no instante pela tao-perigosa-tartaruga e pula em Carol por algum tipo de proteçao, enquanto que ela pensa que ele é um completo cagao. Depois disso Dylan pede ajuda ja que quase qualquer inimigo que ele encontra ele tenta o seu melhor pra fugir e no final ela acaba aceitando em ajudar e tentar ensinar ele como enfrentar os inimgios, e parar de ser um cagao.
Estoria tosca é tosca, mas o que ce pode fazer? Eu nao sou uma escritora.

I was imagining Dylan was a more domesticated dingo rather than a wild one (since the wild ones...are pretty wild)

I'd be more worried about the plant behind them, but I guess that's no longer a concern because in the games they were stationary and their range was pretty short... They seemed to have passed it with no problems ^^

Ain a lineart ficou muito foda mesmo!! E você desenhou em um "painel" bem grande...dá pra ver todos os detalhezinhos. Acho que foi sim um bom passo para começar a fazer fundos. Tenho uma sugestãozinha...tipo, eu não sou nem um pouco boa com fundos, mas acho que talvez você devesse fazer o fundo mais claro que os personagens na frente...por exemplo, clarear mais a lineart lá do fundo.
Hauhauh eu gostei da história também XD Achei muito cômico que a primeira coisa que o Dylan faz quando encontra um inimigo é ser o melhor pra fugir lol (foi o que entendi).
