Slowly trying to get back into the swing of drawing after being sick, it took a lot out of me and I'm not 100% recovered, just felt the urge to do some artwork again.

Initial design for Chancellor Cadence, my dark version of Cadence (in one of the many awful timelines Starlight Glimmer caused in the Season Five Finale, there exists a timeline where Twilight and Shining Armor took a different way home and she was attacked, that resulted in those two never becoming friends. Sunset Shimmer went through the portal and that made her realize that Celestia couldn't be allowed to hurt anyone else so long story short she trains, usurps her after a long time of studying, working the population over to her side, tarnishing the love others had for Celestia, etc. and becomes the leader of a police state where you need to be happy and equal, her nation is a sugary sweet facade hiding some very serious issues (changeling secret police and propaganda and many others) in plain sight and she's actually miserable leading and uses that pain over her circumstances to justify the awful things she does...)

Wanted to make her look sinister yet benevolent and unassuming (adorable) all together - this is a WIP AU and possibly a WIP design - I can't see myself drawing too much for it but it's in my head at the moment so...!!
