Description
One of my favorite photographs to date. It is fairly simple, but I am completely in love with it. Sam was such a trooper, she let me duct tape a bunch of leaves to her bare skin.The curls are a new look for her - don't you think they look awesome?

You mean the shallow focus? I just used my 50mm f/1.8 lens.

that's really good how you actually used a camera to create the effect rather than something like Photoshop. through my art projects that i have done with college i see so many professional photographers being lazy. I'm not a photography student myself but i think this image is fantastic and i'm glad you shared it on the deviant art for others to see it. and thanks for replying too

Aw, thank you! Yeah, I don't particularly like blurring backgrounds inside of Photoshop.. You can almost always tell that it was done in post processing. The only time I use any blurring effects are when they are in small areas, and not so obvious. But I did not do any for this.
