That's cool, I love seeing these. I have made a few process GIFs, but for some reason the program degrades them so badly they look awful. So I just stopped. The weird thing is it doesn't always do it. I studied about it and couldn't figure anything out.

Well, the way I do it is with photoshop..and then I hit "save image for web" and select GIF in the file format... it lowers the resolution a bit, but not too much.
Perhaps it depends on the style of the image? My work tends to be pretty textured, so maybe the artifacts don't show that much...but in a "smoother" style, maybe it does show...
