Description UPDATE: I added some paint thinner to the background characters to make their colors smoother and fixed up a bunch of coloring overlap on Photoshop.

Oh boy, this was a challenge. Given all the detail and colors, I had to fight a lot of negative self-talk to get through it. It tested my abilities with my medium and it was a worth trying to put my own spin and such on it.

I didn't realize until I put the first layer of background that Magdalena had a cape.

This is beautiful I love especially how there's a consistent light source across everything, it really brings everything together and shows off all the details ^^

She's absolutely adorable! I recognized every outfit but her 3rd level one. I was waiting for them to make a Sailor Moon character cuz I always thought she'd be perfect in the Pussycats, and safe to say I'm not disappointed ^^

The third level is based off of the one from Magical Princess Minky Momo. And I just love her little animal friends.

Late reply is late! I love how they pulled off the animals! I usually hate animal sidekicks, but hers manage to be cute enough that I don't mind them ^^

Thanks. Since they're such different mediums, I learned that I'm not going to get exactly the same results so it was another lesson. Just to appreciate what both can do and what different aesthetics they can bring.
