This is very much an experiement for me. I have been testing out different types of paper... normally I use textured papers like watercolour paper or pastel paper... This one however is on super smooth bristol board.Personally my feeling right now is that I won't be using it again as I really don't like the way the pencil slips over the paper, the texture just doesn't feel good to me. It just feels too smooth.
Opinions definately invited on this one...

i love the zzzzebra!! i have a question for you... i love the white eye lashes of the zebra. it doesn't look very furry as your other drawings but i LOVE it regardless

wow thats a fantastic piece i noticed right off the bat that one of the neck stripes is a little to dark but i always over look little mistakes like that when the rest is so fantastic, great work its goiung into my faves.

As always, I love it! Great job. The forehead seems a bit smudged, but I still like it. The stripe pattern is awesome and the eye is very well done.

i think its not as good as u other work, but its still great, perosnaly i think you excell in your work that requires tedious shading, as this is just black and white, but the feature i like most is the nose and how well the stripes meet, what size paper do you use?

Hmmm in my opinion nsome things look like they got a little smudged too that don't really like like they were supposed to. Nothing dramatic, but probly woulda looked better on something a little more crisp.

yeah, I agree. It does feel smudged to me too. Everything just felt to slippery and I didn't feel I could get my normal bite for the texture that is my style... so it is less detailed. Ugh, I don't know, I might scrap it.
