Can I just say I am absolutely astonished and amazed by your visual poetry! Firstly I was wondering, how did you get the grey stripes in the black with this one? Did you do that digitally or was that a pen/whiteout/whatever thing? I'd really like to know, it looks so interesting!
Secondly, I hope you don't mind if I use some of your work as inspiration for an Art assignment... I wouldn't be copying your work or plagiarising or anything, just taking inspiration from your idea of the fantastic way you find words and meaning from something like this.
Again, absolutely amazing work - keep it up!

The ending is a bit hard to follow, but otherwise, it's great. Love how it looks like a wood grain.

That's lovely.
I will admit that I freaked a little when I saw it was on a book, but I got over myself when I read the selected passages. You've done a wonderful job finding coherent sentences within the text

This is the best thing I have ever seen come out of a how-to-sketch book. I love how striking it is while still being so simple, it's really an orriginal idea. ^_^

Takes a second at some points to figure out where to go next, but the effort is worthwhile.

wow...sorta confusing if you tried to read all of it, yet I caught what was going on about half-way through. I like it though.

Scattered, hmm, information overload I think. But if you follow the individually selected words, it's more fluid. Makes sense. Hmm. I like it.
Why would anyone need to know "How to Look at Trees?"

carriezona In reply to Aneirin-Aryon [2011-01-09 01:45:34 +0000 UTC]
hahahaha, right? It was a 2 page spread detailing "how to look at trees" and "how to draw them"

Wow. : D I guess there's no more natural observation, trial and error method anymore. Interesting lol.

Beautiful.
A bit hard to follow until I realized you weren't supposed to read the random words in the stripes. Then I had a lot easier time interpreting it
Very poetic... obviously.... Hard to believe it was just 'found' poetry ^.^
