Description
My version of a Klingon space map, originally seen in Star Trek VI; this version, would be from The Next Generation.I didn't try for an exact (or near exact) version, as I had no real reference for a somewhat accurate one, so I did my own.
As you can see, the Klingons don't really feel that the Federation, the Cardassians, or the Romulans are worth mentioning in too much detail on it.
Not really a wallpaper, even though the size is 1680x1050.
STAR TREK and related, CBS-VIACOM-PARAMOUNT

Only thing missing is the little arrow and Klingon text stating, "You Are Here!"

You don't think there is one? It's written in Klingon, ya know.

Wow dude... I love this. How long did this take to make?
Anyway, I couldn't go find your Cardassian stuff, because I'm about to teach my brother Photoshop and your gallery is well... pornographic in nature. Lol.
But this is a great piece. I'll be back later to DL it. Now that I've seen this, I wish I had used a triangle grid in my own Klingon screen. It looks so much more Klingon.

A LOT longer than I wanted it to!
The grid was drawn out, then overlain on the galaxy.
But, since the grid was a little thin, I had to ERASE EACH TRIANGLE to get the galaxy to show up! Which is a bitch with Photoshop 5!
Plus, I MIGHT redo it, because I think it needs more detail.
Really!
Oh, for the Cardie stuff, look here: [link]

Because of your excellent work, I have to go redo mine now. I always save the layers, and now that I've seen your grid, I /have/ to go make mine that way.
Why don't you go grab CS4? I haven't tried PS5, but you can do just about /anything/ in CS4 (I use three, because four isn't that different and I already had three)

Makes sense. I have a fairly new computer, but PS always seems to slow it down. Can't do much of anything else while PS is running.

Man oh man I'd love to get my hands on one of those! Unfortunately, my financial situations makes purchasing one... unfeasible.

Same here; which is why my 'regular art' takes so damn long: draw it, finish it, scan it, maybe tweak it...
