If you think the last tutorial was long...pffft. IT IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THIS BEAST. This is at least double the size of the last one D:
I made a poll awhile back asking people what they'd like to see most in my next tutorial. Out of the options I gave, I got mostly inking, hair, background, coloring large areas, blending, and a whole lot of "EVERYTHING!".
You guys got your wish. I included EVERYTHING
This isn't ALL of the steps (I think I left out at least 1/3 of it), but these are probably the most useful stuff to put in a tutorial.
I hope this will be helpful and that you guys can get something out of this! (If not, I would be terrible sad). I tried not to repeat myself from the last tutorial and go over new things. So yeah, let me know if it helps. I will be very happy :B

Love the tutorial, i have a lot of work to be where your at, i got a bunch of Copic Sketch markers and Prismacolor markers recently and would love to be as good as you, ill keep practicing,

I like the streaky sky effect, unlike most people. I think it makes the sky less boring, adding texture and such. I'm completely ridiculous and sit there finding all the streak marks just for something to do.

Something I tried out last night was using my lightest color, RV10 (pale pink) to blend. It hardly shows up on my paper, but I don't know if I'd use it for sking tones. (I used it on a STH style penguin character, I used it on her "hair-feathers" and to blend in the green and grey shading on her bathing suit. I also used it on her beak.)

Nice tutorial. But i have a weird random question that you have probably answered already. What tools in photoshop do you use to make your pictures look so good?Im having a difficult time bringing out the colors in mine,(ive tried everything..i think) do you scan your pictures or do you take a picture? maybe its just my scanner..or the paper im using i dont know. T.T

hey you know there are inks to refill markers and you can just take the ink on a big brush to color a wide area.
I see you don't use that method but what do you think about it? it'd be interesting to hear your opinion

I have never colored my art with markers, but seeing this makes me want to try... but I always get the feeling I might mess something up and ruin the WHOLE thing!! Don't you ever get that feeling? T.T;

Your tutorials are always so helpful! I just started using copics (and prismacolors because copics are SOOO expensive) and this really helped me figure out some cool stuff I was wondering about! Honey is just so cute
My only question is what color(s) do you typically use for the skin tones? Mine always come out yellow, yet yours look unbelievably cute and normal! I was wondering if you could possibly enlighten me
