They might except for the first guy. He was just a fun idea to turn that character into a Mer. The others might come up, at least as background characters!

I personally like the merboy prince from Hawaii the best, with the Siren boy being my second favorite. I hope that they become more than just background characters and Jacob and his friends interact with them.
