Well, hoping things have become calm AFTER the storm, meaning the results of my previous LPS and MLP FIM crossover picture [link] , and wanting to make this before we are introduced to 2013, for many who watch the Hub channel, I'm sure you're well aware that Animaniacs is going to come back this January. That's right, a beloved childhood show is coming back into our lives.

Especially mine.

As far as I can remember, Animaniacs was like the second Looney Tunes to me, and thank GOD for YouTube I'm well-reminded of the days when KidsWB used to be alive and it was actually cartoons 24/7. It's really sad that what USED to be cartoon-centered channels, especially poor Cartoon Network, are now overrun by reality TV shows and action sitcoms that, let's be honest, a number of us don't really like.

But pushing that aside, the Animaniacs are coming back!

Now I do love the Hub channel, although I usually just watch it mostly on Saturdays because of what the mornings bring. But if the Animaniacs get an AWESOME schedule, let's say ALL week, then maybe I'll watch the Hub more often if so.

I understand that most people do remember the Animaniacs, but tend to forget the other characters that made the show worthwhile:

Pinky and Brain (of course, you guys know THEM. )
Mindy and Buttons
Slappy Squirrel
Hello Nurse
The Goodfeathers
And MANY more!

But if I can recall one memory of my childhood television, it was definitely the Goodfeathers. See, I was just a little kid, and I had NO idea they were even parodying some movie called Goodfellas. Now that I'm 20, I can see some similarities after making research.

Still, that doesn't break the fact that my heart still warms for these pigeons, especially dear Squit, who is the bird in this picture.

If anyone had forgotten The Goodfeathers, they are three pigeons and think of Robert De Niro because was the inspiration behind Bobby, the lead pigeon.

If there's one thing I recall as a small child whenever I watched Goodfeathers, it was the fact that I had such ANIMOSITY for Pesto, the pigeon with the different colored eyes and the bad temper. He is ALWAYS in a bad mood and the fact that he takes anything poor Squit says into negative assumption and starts beating him, yeah, as a kid I just WISHED Squit would hit him back, beat him up until he can't fly anymore.

Apparently, I'm still wishing on that to this day.

Squit has always been the nicest of the Goodfeathers, with a child-like demeanor and a good heart. And the fact he is usually smiling, he could give Barbie a run for her money!

I'm very excited for Animaniacs to come back. The Hub really is the NOSTALGIC NETWORK. So, I decided to draw Pepper from LPS with Squit because her show is the current newest on the channel right now...and because I can totally see her as some pushy coach who wants to bring the 'inner animal' out of any, well, animal.

Who's to say that she might actually get Squit to turn that smile upside down? And making smiles is usually her intent!

All I can say now is: Welcome back, Animaniacs. And welcome back, Squit. I've really missed you.
